Writing a book is always an impressive feat, regardless of the outcome. In this case, Holden has written something that I'm sure many readers will love, but is just not to my style. The dialogue felt a bit unnatural and the descriptions felt too effusive and exaggerated. I was also very dialogue-heavy and lacked the balance I tend to prefer. I liked the background of the cover but not the image of the two characters on it.
