The Art of Escaping; interesting so far. The little script in the beginning was kind of confusing but then I finished the 23 pages given to me and it made more sense. The character Mattie is interesting with a side of 'what is she hiding'?
As for the writing style it's a pretty much like most other YA books. The descriptions are pretty on spot, and I especially loved the 'bathroom stall' bit. Pretty legit feeling.
I am a little confused but I think that's typical since I only read a bit, it's like when you start a new book and can barley remember which character is which. But I am sure upon reading the whole book, Mattie's persona will have left her mark in mind in the pool of characters.
Looks like an interesting read, I will for sure be reading it down on the list of books for the summer.
(P.S page five of 'Mattie vs. Tiny, Icky Things' has a little typo. Wonderful is spelt 'wonwderful'. Just caught my eye ♥️ )
