Witty characters with fascinating story premise

I must say I was drawn in with the premise of the book being a teen obsessed with escapism. It was wholly original and fascinating and then when I read the banter between Mattie and Miyu I was hooked. I love YA books that show teens with an interest in something original. YA books that have teens with substance. I think those books are important for young girls. These are the ones I want to read and would love for my daughter to read. I can't wait to read about Mattie's journey along with the snappy Miyu!
