The cover intrigued me enough that I read the synopsis.
That sounded good enough for me to read the sample.
The initial section of the sneak peek was a bit confusing.
I thought this was supposed to be YA but if anything it read NA to me.
The characters did not grab me immediately and the language did not fit my expectations.
I am not saying that makes it a bad story, just that I am not the target audience for this book.
I prefer to be interested in the dialogue much more quickly.
