I read the preview of The Art of Escaping a couple of times, and I'm still unsure about the story line. The synopsis of the book makes sense. Where I run into trouble understanding is in the reading of the actual preview. The confusion is on me because I see from other reviews of the preview that most readers have enjoyed it. If I'm going to struggle with a book so much at the beginning, it's best to recognize that I should pass.
