WHAT?! There's a cliffhanger--I need more!
I have to admit, at first I wasn't completely hooked--it felt a little traditional, Megan Whalen Turner-like fantasy.
But then I kept reading and I ended up really loving both Olsa & Kalanthe's characters as they are both very different, yet obviously have history together.
I think Olsa is super intriguing in her motivations etc., and I definitely want to keep reading not only to see what Kalanthe does, but also to find out why Olsa and she might have a strained-ish relationship & also find out more about the quest they took before! (Also, THAT CLIFFHANGER AHH)
This ended up being a really quick read (quicker than expected) and I definitely adore the comeback of illustrated covers! (And I love purple.)
