The Afterwards sounds like a book I want to get my hands on, and reading the First Impression helped confirm that thought even more. E.K. Johnston's books have always been on my radar. This sounds like a good fantasy with some strong female characters. The cover is super interesting looking too. I'm definitely going to have my eye out for this one!
