After seeing who wrote this book, it was pretty much an automatic insta-buy for me. EK Johnston wrote Ahsoka, the eponymous novel centering around my all-time favorite Star Wars character ever, which pretty much cemented her spot in YA fame for me. The fact that this is a romantic fantasy, and one with kick-ass lady fighters to boot, just makes me want this novel even more. The sample was a great start, with intriguing and compelling characters, and the concept is just too great. I'm seriously looking forward to reading the rest of this book.
