The intro/prologue seemed to fit if this book is a sequel; if this isn't then I think it should be woven into the story rather than a long preamble. It rather was boring and nearly turned me off from reading more... I was happy I continued reading, as I really enjoyed the story as it began with the next chapter and the thief sneaking into the nursery. Maybe the beginning could be incorporated into that storytelling? To make it come alive?? If the rest of the book is like the following chapters, I think young adults will love the novel.
I thought the cover could be intriguing, but it looked slightly cartoonish (especially the character in the front) and would prefer more realistic, artistic portrayal.
