I've been curious about this one ever since I first saw the cover. I love fantasy books, but I've never read one quite like this, much less one deemed "high fantasy". After reading this sneak peek, I think I get why it's described as such. It has a certain whimsical quality to it, & I love it. I also love the language she uses. It kind of reminds me of the good old-fashioned fairy tales told through a wise old narrator's soothing voice. (I hope that makes sense!) It made me feel nostalgic. I am riveted by this quirky fantasy, & would be so unbelievably happy to win a copy & really dig in to this. The cover kinda hints at the energetic & whimsical tale that lies ahead. I know it's not like the usual highly stylized covers we have been seeing lately, but I think it fits the vibe of the book. I love it. Give me more please! I'm so ready to go on an epic adventure! Let's do this!!
