While fantasy and sci-fi are my least favorite genres, my students have always loved The Story of Owen series, so I know this is another masterful story from E. K. Johnston that my students will devour. Told with detail readers can certainly visualize, this epic tale is one that will sweep readers in at once. A hero vs. a former beggar and thief, in a romantic futuristic setting no less -- what’s not to love?
