Waking up in a dark forest, not knowing exactly where you are and more so WHO you are is not a good thing. Also you find you have the name Anna on your mind and the tip of your tongue.
Saying "Anna" out loud seems right, then you hear a woman scream HELP! Where is she? Who's hurting her? Then you see something, a dark figure and being stunned, also possibly concussed, you have a delayed reaction. Now you're running to help & suddenly you hear a gunshot ring through the forest.
What more does a reader need to be drawn into this murder mystery that takes place in the remote English Countryside? Surrounded by people our character doesn't know or cannot remember makes the intrigue all that much better!
Sounds like a traditional whodunit mystery! I have to get this and finish reading. I AM HOOKED!
