The concept of this book seemed really interesting, but sadly this book was not for me. I loved the movie Clue from the 80s and originally I thought the 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle would be similar. A group of people brought together in this mansion and a mystery element, made sense to me. I also liked that each day it was from the perspective of a new house guest and that was how we would solve the mystery. But this book did not work for me. There was so much build up to the overall story line and I felt like the ending really fell flat. It felt like they spent so much time making it so the ending would not be predictable that instead the reveal seems out of the blue and did not feel like it fit into the story well. I wish I did not take the time to read this book.
