What in the heck did I read? I seriously needed a notebook to jot down all the characters and plot and plot twist. Evenlyn is going to die. You know this from the get go. But... Is Evelyn even Evenlyn. Reminisce of an Agatha Christie tale. The Seven and a half Deaths of Evelyn Hugo is a wild ride back in time. On the eve of a ball Eve will die. But you have a chance to stop her. Several chances 7 in all but if she dies 7 times you will die also. I never could figure it out. The writing was very fluent and descriptive. You actually felt you were there at the home in the woods drinking and enjoying all the festivities. I still cant not fathom that this is a first time novel written by the author. One word Incredible.
