I won this book in a giveaway from Bookish First.

I highly recommend going into this blind. The synopsis actually pulled me in as it reminded me of Clue in a way. However; when you first start reading, you are going to ask yourself “What is going on?” It was not what I was expecting. You start to find out more around “the game” 67 pages in. I actually wish this information was in a prologue, as it helps explains a little about the story without giving away too much.

This story is told in days. It was already a little confusing, then the story starts to jump from one day to another day continued (Day 4 to Day 2 continued and back to other days). I was just not a fan of that personally. It was off putting the more I read once I came up to those chapters.

This is a mystery around a death and you need figure out who the murderer is. There is mystery, murder, drugs, attacks, and so much more. So much is happening, with nothing happening at all. You will meet several different characters. The plot was just not as fast paced as I was hoping. I wanted more plot and less character development. I really did not care much about the characters knowing what you do about what is going on. I just wanted things to unfold faster.

Unfortunately, this was just not for me. I found myself forcing myself to pick it up.
