Original, different, interesting

This was such an original book, the premise is hard to explain without spoiling, but it's a bit mystery, a bit supernatural and a lot interesting. The one thins I struggled with is the length. There is a lot of repetition, this cyclical narration is integral to the plot, but it also means it's a hard book to follow if you're not completely immersed. I got the most enjoyment out of this book when I was on a long flight and was able to really let myself be surrounded by the story. I definitely recommend it, but pick it up it a cabin, on a plane, this is not rushed reading, for sure. That caveat aside, I loved the originality, I couldn't foresee what was going to happen, and I will definitely pick up future books from this author.
