I was very excited about this book and read this for a buddy read. However, I found the writing to be weak, the storyline to be dull, the twists were predictable, and overall, this was not for me. There were many, many characters and it was tough to keep track of all of them. I found the characters to be unlikable and was not even rooting for the main character to form his discovery of the murderer. Additionally, nuggets that were planted early on, some of them panned out, but most of them ended up being forgetful or not impressive. I really did not care for this one and I think it reads about 100 pages too long. I would have liked to see this one shortened and with more developed characters. Thank you for the opportunity.
