This was a book that I really wanted to like. It was an interesting premise, one which promised a unique story and a full cast of characters, but I found it to be underwhelming. For starters, the sheer number of character names and perspectives were difficult to keep track of, and there were many times when I found myself more than a little lost. On top of that, attempting to keep track of what day we were on in the cycle got to be too much, and I gave up on attempting it entirely. The resolution to the book was disappointing and rushed, and weird. It didn't fit in with the rest of the book that Anna would be a demon monster, and it made no sense that our main character was willing to save her AND live out the rest of his life with her. I understand forgiveness, but after everything, it seemed unrealistic.
