I read this book a few months back for my neighborhood bookclub. Well, it came back up as a pick for my work bookclub. Because it is such a mysterious, detailed, complicated book I decided to revisit it on audiobook. I am finally finshing it up again! .
I loved this book so much! I loved the uniqueness of it and the writing was just amazing. During the beginning of the audio I made notes of just a couple of lines that I really loved:

"How lost do you have to be to let the devil lead you home?"

"Anger's solid; it has weight. You can beat your fists against it. Pity's a fog to become lost within."

Very fascinating and imaginative! This book requires an open mind and a sense of adventure. .
I don't think this book is for everyone. However, for me this book was right up my ally. I was huge Quantum Leap fan in the 80's and I love murder mysteries!

What I loved about this book is I had no idea what was going on. It was not an obvious "Ok, I know who is responsible for all this drama" half way through the book like most of the mysteries I have read last year. As a matter of fact I can't even compare this book to any of the psychological mysteries I have read due to it's originality and uniqueness. .
There are a lot of details in the story to pay close attention to, but fun to try and follow all the clues and solve the mystery! I had a few things figured out, but still super surprised with how the story played out. .
That being said. I am glad I read this book before listening to the audio. Personally, I think it would have been difficult to follow just listening to the audio.

Who else read this one? Did you love it or hate it??
I'd love to hear what other bookstagrammers think about this one!
