Intriguing, different than anything I've read in awhile

I actually read this book a few months ago, but it really stuck with me. The 7 1/2 Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle is such a unique concept.
My puzzle-loving brain had a great time reading it. It reminded me a bit of Clue, but where you get to play as everyone in the game.  As I read, I anxiously awaited the unveiling of each pertinent character, feeling an odd sense of satisfaction every time events or interactions would fall perfectly into place. This book requires an active thought process but I highly recommend when you're in the right mood.

I have been recommending it to people all year and haven't heard from anyone that they were disappointed after reading it. This book really raised the bar for me on what a reader can handle in a mentally challenging way. I am hoping that we get to see more books from Stuart Turton in the future.
