What a fun, twisty mystery! It’s hard to review without spoiling the aspects that make it such a unique mind-bender - I'd honestly recommend going in as blind as possible. Once you accept the rules of the universe it becomes a fast-paced thriller of frequently shifting perspectives and alternative reality world-building. Basically what you'd get if the game of Clue were set in an episode of Black Mirror.

I had trouble putting it down, the mystery is effortlessly strung together by a compelling, but fragmented format. It's always pleasantly surprising when a mystery breaks free from common formulas - there may be bits and pieces that you see coming, but the overall structure is fresh. Outstanding work for a debut novel, and is it too early to cross our fingers for a movie adaptation?
