And we’re off! The story begins in the middle of a murder and then it calms to a steady questioning of what happened. When the summary mentioned Agatha Christie meets Groundhog Day I knew this would be a story I was going to enjoy. Even with just these few chapters I’m on the edge of my seat as our narrator tries to understand what he just witnessed and why no one seems concerned for the woman just murdered (that’s not a spoiler, it’s in the title).

I like the fast pace of the story and not getting to caught up in describing the surroundings too much. Stories that start in the middle of an event and then explain as we go are my favorites and I wish I had this book now for the atmosphere and spooky feeling that only a unique murder mystery like this one can provide.
