While I was interested from the beginning, this story was slow at times. Overall, the plot was definitely intriguing and the cast of characters, despite being quite expansive, was well done. The main character Aiden Bishop had a unique voice as he was trying to solve the mystery and figure out the ins and outs of Blackheath, and I enjoyed his perspective. All of the other characters, including the ones that Aiden inhabited, were also well written and had their own unique characteristics shine though.

The story was unpredictable, for the most part, as all good mysteries should be. Plus, I very much enjoyed listening to it as an audiobook. I don't think I would have had the same experience physically reading it.
