I would call this simply a "time loop" story, rather than a "Groundhog Day Loop." This must be a period story, judging by the Art Deco cover. I didn't know people in the 1920s or 1930s were allowed to have time loops, but , anyway, I love a period British mystery!
The opening chapters are well written, with good dialogue and descriptions, and I would enjoy the fun of reading more about these toffs and the Hideous Murder at the country house where they are staying.
