The first chapter of this book immediately plunges us into some sort of deadly woodland chase scene, and I'm hooked. The protagonist has no idea where he is, but realizes he's in the middle of trying to stop a murder. Who is this guy? How did he get here, and who is the woman being murdered? How does he know she's about to be killed? I can't wait to find out.
