Since I first heard of this book, I've been waiting for the US edition to be released. The concept is so interesting and contemporary/mystery books with a touch of magic or a sci-fi element is a favorite thing of mine and also that gorgeous cover, sold. I knew immediately this book was a must read for me. And now I know for sure I'm ready to dig in after reading those few chapters.
Pleasantly surprise how the first sentence put me right in the thick of it, no delays, the adventure has already begun and was just waiting for me to get there. I love that when a book begins with that adrenaline rush and I'm anxiously trying to figure out what's going to happen next.
So far I would say that I can confidently predict a thrilling and satisfying read from The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle and very intrigued to follow through.
