Grabbed My Attention Immediately

I love to read and as a book lover, discovering a new author is a pleasure. That unmistakably wonderful feeling when I finish reading an excerpt and just know that I have found something unique. The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is 'that' book. Memory loss, fear, a remote location, murder, odd characters, and a very puzzling mystery are just a few of the things that immediately grabbed my full attention as I read this First Look. Rarely does my book radar fail me and I feel pretty confident saying this one is going to be unputdownable.
What I read so far, just makes me want more! I am adding this one to my TBR list and can't wait to get lost in Stuart Turnton's words.
