A period mystery with a twist
First off, that cover is lovely. It has an artistic look to it and yet manages to convey the feelings of an antique and definitely puts me in an Agatha Christie frame of mind.
In honesty, the summary that was provided had me incredibly intrigued, but the First Look itself fell short of what was promised. I felt like my sense of belief was being stretched too far when you have a man barging into a house yelling about a woman being murdered and no one reacting with any sense of urgency. It was almost surreal. I think that I would really like the concept, but it will definitely take more for me to buy in completely.
