The writing was dull and not creative at all. The book felt like a draft written by a college student rather than a published book. The characters are flat and I did not care about any of them at all. The humor annoyed me. It was cliche and didn't have any real personality behind it. The cover is not attractive. It looks very generic and like something that would have come out of the 90's. Overall I just didn't find this book interesting. Someone who enjoys modern day stories and reads them all the time may enjoy it but I doubt many others will. I must add though that this is not my type of book so it may work for someone else. I much prefer fantasy and creativity in my stories. Everyday life stories bore me. I am living in this world so I don't want to escape into it.
