First impressions are important and I had never heard of Lynda La Plante, long time followers know I absolutely adore Karin Slaughter. After seeing the visually appealing cover, I looked at is closer and was rather impressed with the praise spoke by Karin Slaughter slapped on the cover.
When I started reading the book, I was not disappointed at all. Lynda La Plante has a way of drawing you in and capturing your attention from the get go.
