I’ve never read anything by this author. From the first impression I can honestly say that it really pulled me in. Poor Tennison, she seems to suffer from Murphy’s Law. I hope that things get better for her. I can’t wait to read more. Some of the phrasing and words were a little hard to understand because it is British speak and I’m in the United States but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t grasp as I read more. I love books in that setting. I would love to move there. My hubby was a cop for years so I love to compare the differences on procedures and stuff. I can’t wait to dive into the rest of this great read!
