Coming up with a first impression of a thriller is pretty difficult because it usually takes a little while for the "thriller"-ness of it to kick in, but I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. I do really enjoy that the protagonist is female (and more than that, that the book explicitly deals with how difficult it is for her to deal with her extremely male-dominated workplace/profession), plus I feel like I got to see a few interesting characters in the first chapter that show promise.
