I thought this book was beautifully done! You really connect with the author and her experience. It did take me a while to read this book. I felt it was emotionally dense in ways for me, which isn't a bad thing just made it harder for me to read it for long periods of time. I really connected with her because she felt she didn't have a choice, and truly in many ways she didn't and that was difficult for her. I can only imagine how hard it was for her child to meet her and know they have full-blooded related siblings. I think it would be interesting to hear from their child about their life and how they felt about meeting and more. There are probably many women who went through this and could really connect. Maybe even women who feel they still don't have a choice now. I think it can then lead into so many things. I hope this author continues to educate and use her story as a learning experience for others.
