Wow! Just Wow! The author, MaryLee MacDonald has written a “raw” story of giving away her baby at birth in the early sixties. She married the baby’s father and they put themselves through school, raised children. She lost her husband in a car accident in Germany. Their last child was born shortly after her husband died. The book opens with memories of her trying to explain to her second husband, Bruce, why she did not want to move in a therapist’s office. The scene was so raw and Shows her courage to tell all. I can’t wait to finish finding out how she deals having been adopted and how she has an opportunity to be with her son she gave up for adoption, so well written!
