At first glance, I did not expect this to be a memoir. Only after reading the synopsis closely and going over the cover again did I realize it was. The title and cover made me think that this was going to be some sort of Thriller. Which is interesting because that means this book might stand out against other memoir titles.

The writing is amazing. It's easy to see that the author has honed in on the important moments and curate a glimpse of her life. Though this memoir is not something I can see myself reading fully, it was heart-wrenching to read even this small tidbit. I think for someone who can better relate to her story or generally likes reading this kind of genre, this would be a very enjoyable read.
