I haven't read many biographies or memoirs in general, but I will say I was drawn into Marylee's story and her connections with adoption. Feelings of abandonment and being unwanted connected to two separate yet interconnected parts of her past. Her style of storytelling may not be for everyone, and her ideals of how to be a good wife and mother I may not necessarily agree with, but I would be open to learning more about her story if I receive a copy.
