At first, my eyes completely jumped over the line that said this was a memoir! When I first read the blurb, my mind literally thought it was another dystopian novel something like The Handmaiden's Tale!! I'm not really one to read memoirs, but this sounds interesting. I'm not a fan of the cover though.
