I’m not really a fan of memoirs, but the cover of the book and blurb made me want to check out the first look. The very first chapter of the book gripped me. I couldn’t imagine getting pregnant at sixteen, giving up my baby for adoption and always wondering what ever happened to them. It takes a strong women to endure that kind of pain and trauma. I like that this first look was fifty eight pages as it really gives you time to connect the story and see if you want to continue reading.
