This story sounds like it would be the perfect audiobook. If the reader could become the character and make you feel like she's telling you her own her story, that would be such an amazing experience. I think it would be interesting to see how differently she tells the story because she wants sympathy from her son, that how the story actually went. I hope the author incorporated some of that into the story. I also feel like there would be so much family drama and other drama to unpack in this story.
