Starting with the cover it is beautiful, I’m first drawn to a book by the cover. I love a book that is able to make me feel something. I have always been curious about how children of adoption feel towards their adoptive / biological parents. It’s also interesting to learn about the struggles that women had to face back in those years. We’re lucky to be where we are now. I would love to learn about the relationship between mother and son in Surrender.
