The book has a strong narrator, and an interesting beginning. The writing is solid. I don't think I'd be the ideal candidature for this book due to the subject nature and that I am not really into the books where it seems like it will be emotional roller-coaster (mainly the plot of her giving up the baby for an adoption).
The cover of the book doesn't really go with the prose all that much in my opinion. It feels like, or seems to be more like a gothic book and doesn't really clash with the narrator and or what happened in her life.
