I have read a couple books about the stories of women who have given their babies up, and this one promises to be just as moving. In the few first pages of this book, the author reveals just how life-altering surrendering a child truly is, and the strife it causes later on. Being an adopted baby herself, MacDonald's story shows both sides of adoption, which makes this book even more unique. I can not wait to read this family's story, and I am almost guaranteed to cry.
