Even from the first blurb I already know this book isn't for me. The initial phrase "Nature vs. nurture: Which plays a greater role in who we become? The family we were raised in, or the parents we never knew?" is so inaccurate that I know this book won be good. Scientifically speaking, its a mix of both nature and nurture that play a role in who a person becomes. It seems a bit shame-is towards the mother who was clearly in a difficult position and I don't think I would like this book based off the description and over used cliche of "nature vs. nurture".
