Very different kind of memoir than I have ever read. The excerpt was pretty long compared to other ones I have read on here. It really gives you a lot of information. I find it interesting that the author was also an adoptee and also ended up giving up her son. I do understand given her age and time period in which she ended up pregnant. It must have been very difficult for the son knowing that his mother and father ended up married with four more children together. I would love to continue to read more of this author's story with her and her son and other family members.
