I really enjoyed Sugar town queens. It really embodies a chosen family type of love. In most books like this one it really focuses on the families, butI felt as though the book did a great job putting a spotlight on the friends or as they are also known the chosen family. One of the things that drew me to this book was the cover and I have to say that in person I am still very in love with the artistry of the cover. It is clear that the author and the artist had a very clear vision of what they would like to show the readers. The readers that would be picking this book because of the cover alone will not find any disappointment within Malla Nunn' s Sugar town queens.Now I must admit that the mystery was not as compelling as I would have liked but it was not bad, it simply seemed to resolve too quickly for me. But otherwise Sugar town queens is a captivating read.
