Malla Nunn's "Sugar Town Queens" isn't a book that I would normally have picked up. The cover and the summary both didn't really sway my interest, but I decided to check it out. It is one of those times that the saying 'don't judge a book by it's cover' holds true. This excerpt provided interesting and drew me in as a reader. Worth looking into for sure!
