Nothing like a family secret to draw me into a book. Add a little supernatural phenomenon and I am hooked. The book also lured me in with the ideas of race involved. I love a book that doesn't hide this and I look forward to reading how everyone is impacted by this. To go a step further, this sounds like a wonderful novel to have a book talk to discuss!
