Sugar Town Queens by Malla Nunn sounds like it will be a hard-hitting young adult novel. I enjoyed the sample and the writing style. However, I will not be picking it up because of the subject matter. It is a trigger for me. Besides that, it does seem like it will be a well-written young adult novel.
