Wow, what a great First Look! Amandla is a bi-racial teenager, whose white mother is a little eccentric. She gets visions etc. I won't recap the entire first look. However, I absolutely love the writing in this book. I have already connected with Amandla. I have a feeling this book is going to deal with serious issues such as mental illness and more importantly racism.
