I love this excerpt! It was well-written and I immediately connected with Amandla and cared about what was going to happen to her. I absolutely loved Lil Bit and am intrigued by Goodness. I like how there is a set-up for a friendship to develop there. I'm very intrigued by Amandla's unknown family and I can't wait to read more!
